General Election 2017

28th April 2017

Following the Executive and General Meeting of the Cotswold Conservative Association on 27 April 2017, Geoffrey Clifton-Brown has been unanimously reselected as the Conservative candidate for The Cotswolds constituency.

Mr Clifton-Brown has been the Member of Parliament for The Cotswolds for 25 years and has fought six elections over that period. As a candidate, his experience and knowledge of the Cotswolds and its residents are second-to-none and he will continue to work hard to ensure that the Cotswolds’ voice is heard loud and clear in Parliament.

Mr Clifton-Brown commented:

‘I look forward to having a fair and constructive campaign with the Liberal Democrat candidate Andrew Gant, over the coming month.’

‘The Cotswolds deserves the strong and stable leadership that a Conservative MP can provide.’

DISSOLUTION OF PARLIAMENT

I’m not currently an MP, as Parliament has been dissolved until after the General Election.

Note that much of the content of this website was added whilst I was an MP.

Latest Newsletter

I would like to begin this week’s newsletter by offering my sympathies and condolences to all those involved and affected by last Wednesday terrible attack on Parliament.
